Kidwell and Albus Dentistry is unique compared to other dental offices in that the laboratory we work with is conveniently connected to our practice. Partnering with a top-tier dental laboratory like the Lab Guys Dental Arts allows Drs. Kidwell, Albus, and Williams to offer services that other dentists cannot. Our proximity to our lab technicians gives us complete quality control over our crowns, veneers, implants, night guards, and dentures.

Our practice is able to offer patients custom shading on restorations, smile makeovers, and same-day crowns for those who frequently travel or visit from out of town. When crowns and veneers don't have the optimal fit or color, our office is able to make immediate modifications instead of having to reappoint the patient. Our doctors and Min Kim are determined to provide unparalleled quality and service to our valued patients.

Min Kim of the Lab Guys Dental Arts utilizes the latest materials, and proven techniques to create customized restorations. Min Kim is the owner of The Lab Guys and a Certified Dental Laboratory Technician. Mr. Kim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He has a degree from the College of Science and Health at Korea University. He has worked in Gangnam, South Korea, Toronto, Canada, and now Dallas, Texas. He has been working in the dental field since 1997 and prides himself on blending classic techniques with new technology.

    Dentistry has always been a family affair for the Kidwell family. His father started our dental practice over fifty years ago and Dr. Kidwell decided to follow in his father’s footsteps.

    Derek M. Albus, DDS

    Dr. Albus was raised in Katy, Texas (a west suburb of Houston) and graduated from Taylor High School in 1990. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas State University, he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998.

  • Dr. Brett Williams, DDS

    Dr. Williams was raised in North Dallas and graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School.  After attending the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Williams received a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology.  He then attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where he met his wife.

    Outside of the dental office Dr. Williams enjoys playing soccer, golf, fishing, exercise, and traveling to the mountains to escape the Texas heat.
